Main achievements:

Jytte is an experienced teacher of English for Academic Purposes (EAP), higher education professional and researcher. As well as her role at HBU-UCLan, Jytte has worked as a tutor and assessor at Higher Education and Further/Continuing Education institutions, in language, cinema, Film and Cultural Studies.

Jytte has a teaching degree from Malmö School of Education (Sweden), and post graduate MAs in Spanish from both Lund University (Sweden) and University of Auckland (New Zealand) and a Doctorate (PhD) in Screen and Media Studies from University of Melbourne (Australia). Jytte is a certified interpreter, with a Graduate Diploma in Translation Studies from University of Auckland (New Zealand) and CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching for Adults) qualified.

Jytte has written several research papers, published in online film journals. She has worked as a film and cultural critic for the Lavazza Italian Film Festival and chaired and presented at numerous international conferences
